Perinatal human rights

The World Health Organization, the UN and UNICEF have been working for years to promote and guarantee respect for human rights in pregnancy and post-partum.
Respect for pregnant woman and children are at the heart of global health policies.
In this context, verbal abuse or lack of clear explanations also violates human rights.
CiaoLapo since 2006 has promoted the respect and human rights of couples who lose children during pregnancy or after birth, through three main actions: research, advocacy, education.
